MERINO ALL SEASON SOCK
An incredibly comfortable and hard-wearing boot sock, that can handle “4 seasons in one day”.
The Merino All Season is lighter than our Classic Merino Sock, but is heavily reinforced where you need it most ... in the heel, sole and toe. These areas are thick, and tightly woven, ensuring superior strength and durability, and a cushioning effect likened to “walking on carpet”.
A versatile sock that is the “go-to” for farmers, tradespeople and trampers ... and other hard-working kiwis that appreciate a premium-quality, locally-made product.
Proudly New Zealand made
Composition: 80% NZ merino wool, 15% nylon, 5% spandex
Colour: charcoal
SOFT
Merino fibres are extremely fine, enabling them to bend far more than traditional, coarser wool fibres. This makes Merino wool feel soft and luxuriously gentle next to your skin
BREATHABLE
Merino fibres can absorb large quantities of moisture vapour then move it away to evaporate into the air. So Merino wool clothing is extremely breathable and less prone to clamminess making it a perfect material for socks.
WARM AND COOL
In contrast to synthetics, Merino is an active fibre that reacts to changes in body temperature. So it helps you stay warm when the weather is cold, and cool when the weather is hot.
ODOUR RESISTANT
In contrast to synthetics, Merino wool can absorb moisture vapour which means less sweat on your body. Merino wool even absorbs the odours from sweat, which are then released during washing.
FIRE RESISTANT
You are safer in Merino wool because it is flame retardant and doesn't melt or stick to the skin.
COMPLETELY NATURALMerino wool is an entirely natural and renewable fibre.
NATURAL
Merino wool is grown year-round by Merino sheep, consuming a simple blend of water, air, sunshine and grass.
BIODEGRADABLE
When Merino fibre is disposed of, it will naturally decompose in soil in a matter of years, slowly releasing valuable nutrients back into the earth.
RENEWABLE
Every year Merino sheep produce a new fleece, making Merino wool a completely renewable fibre source.
NYLON
Nylon is a very strong, versatile, hard-wearing fiber. Socks made of nylon can be thin and silky or bulky and highly elastic. Nylon is often used with other fibers in blends to give added stretch or to improve durability.
SPANDEX
Used with other fibers, it provides elasticity, comfort and a close fit, which makes it a common choice in socks to help them stay up and in the arch and ankle to provide extra support.
